Tiger Woods
Back in 2007, I received dozens of emails about Tiger Woods and his new muscle-bound body, and people wanted to know if I thought he was using steroids.
So I wrote a very controversial blog post about it.
And this week that blog post has gotten a lot of attention, given his recently admitted “transgressions”.
What did I say back in 2007?
Well, back then, I said he’s NOT on steroids.
But given his recent behavior and clear lack of judgment…now I’m starting to reconsider.
Could I have been wrong about Tiger’s muscle-building all along?
I still think it IS possible for him to have gained that amount of muscle NATURALLY.
In fact, back then I said…
“Anyone who thinks Tiger Woods is on steroids has never been in a gym. Has never lifted weights. Has no idea of the potential of the human body to adapt to training.”
Not surprisingly, that created a LOT of controversy, and some of the blog comments from anonymous readers are downright nasty and contain strong language, so be warned if you want to check my original blog post out here:
=> How Did Tiger Woods Build Muscle
Essentially, my argument was this…
1) Tiger isn’t “that” big, and not much bigger than me
2) I’ve never used steroids
3) Therefore, I don’t believe Tiger needed to use steroids
And I still believe that, but last week someone made an interesting comment on the blog and about my photo, writing:
“Tiger appears bulked up. You look natural. Tiger Woods does not.”
Interesting…so here are 3 scenarios…
1) Could the differences in our bodies be due to the bodyweight exercises in my program giving me a more “natural” look while Tiger has done more weight training – and looks bulky?
2) Could the differences simply be due to the way we each genetically respond to training?
3) Could he really be on steroids?
So far I’ve received many more “Tiger DOES use steroids” comments on my blog, but maybe its simply because he isn’t using bodyweight bodybuilding methods.
Interesting stuff.
In the end, I’m sticking to my original belief that Tiger did NOT use steroids to build muscle.
And that my workouts – particularly the bodyweight exercises used in my Bodyweight Bodybuilding type workouts – give me a better looking, all-natural beach body.

I have often wondered if Tiger’s metamorphis from someone who looked like Steve Erkl into someone who looks like he could play in the NFL was aid and abetted by steroids. Until this recent scandal I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Many of his fellow tour pros use weight training to help their golf game but they sure as hell don’t have muscles like Tiger has. As someone who has done quite a bit of weight training and loves to golf, I’ve found that the training necessary to build muscles like Tiger has hinders my golf game. After what we’ve learned about Tiger recently, I now believe he’s juiced.

Tiger along with 90% of professional athletes (and probably 80% of amatuer/olympic athletes) have access to the best nutritional supplements available as well as dieticians and personal chefs. I myself have made the trasformation using Craig’s techniques/workouts and strong supplement and clean eating program (without dieticians and personal chefs). My friends now tell me that I look like a professional football player.
If you think you can, you can! If you think you can’t then you can’t.. Its that simple. Believing in yourself is the first step. Second, find a good nutrition plan and third do the work. Be infallable and you will not go wrong. Most people quit because they do not see results. No resluts is from not having all the pieces of the puzzle.
Even if Tiger did take steriods (I strongly beleive that to be false) He still had to do the work. Steroids are not magic. Craig knows what he is talking about… its better to listen to him as an expert; instead of justifying your own reasoning. Take all the passion that goes into writing your reason that you think Tiger is taking steriods and go to the gym with it… its a much better use of your energy

i believe tiger uses pure creatine sometimes as he looks bulky then slighty leaner in spells creatine is natural and i think he will use this and also i think he will do upper lower body workouts and combine a lot of rotation a nd compound moves as well as isometric.
creatine his body looks like that to be honest.plus will give him strength
