Truth About Yogging and Fat Loss

Cardio turns you into a skinny runner, which is all fine and good if you like ‘yogging’, as our friend and “Anchorman”, Ron Burgundy would say.
But the truth is that he and his girl, Veronica Corningstone, did not build their sexy bodies with yogging, and you won’t either. (“Yogging” is a funny term from the movie, Anchorman, in case you haven’t watched it.)

According to the journal, Sports Medicine, “the overall yearly incidence rate for running injuries varies between 37 and 56%” (Sports Med. 1992 Nov;14(5)Med. 1992 Nov;14(5):320-35.)
So basically you have a 50-50 chance of getting injured each year if you are a runner (or a “yogger” as Anchorman would say).
That’s why I want you to stop doing endless amounts of cardio before you get hurt (and frustrated that it’s not getting you the body you want or deserve).

But back to your proven plan…
Step #1 - No cardio. You don’t need to do this for fat loss. And YES, I can hear you celebrating. I know, I know, this is great news. When I first discovered this truth covered this truth back in 1998
I was just as happy as you are.
Step #2 - Bodyweight circuit to kick-off the plan. You’ll do prisoner squats, mountain climbers, prisoner lunges, and close-grip pushups to start.

Or do a slight variation of the exercise…use a narrower grip for presses, or do a few extra reps to work your torso muscles a little harder when doing rows.
